Under Agnel Institute of Technical Training & Entrepreneurship Development, we are running various Vocational Training Centers with the help of NGO & Company to include the underprivileged people who are academically, economically and socially backward in the mainstream of development by giving the best to them in skill and competence, which will make them eligible for self / wage employment.
Skill development for employability is an important strategy in the fight against poverty. Accordingly, the poor will have a priority claim and easy access to opportunities for skill development at these centers.
Equal access to skill development is essential for all social groups particularly women and disadvantaged section of society, to help them in securing decent employment and moving out of poverty.
While enhancing the opportunity of skill development for all, entry assessments will be deployed to channelize people with different profiles and needs into appropriate skill development program.
The effort will be combined with a major initiative in raising awareness among the target groups about the benefit of skill development, employment and learning opportunities and also about support schemes that enable them to participate in training.
In addition to vocational skills, the provision of soft (or life) skills – including basic literacy, numeracy, occupational safety and health, hygiene, basic labour rights, team work and confidence building – will be made as an integral component of the curricula. This will also help in empowerment of vulnerable groups.
Human capital is an important aspect of the demographic dividend while determining the economic growth. Projects targets youths to take the admission in the courses started at each center. These youths will be mobilized from the surrounding area of the each center.
